Description
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of contracts (e.g., sales, distribution, licensing, confidentiality). • Provide pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. • Proactively engage with the business to understand its operations, product lines, and strategic goals to tailor legal solutions effectively. • Collaborate across departments (company secretarial, licensing, compliance, information security) to ensure cohesive legal services. • Assist in assessing and mitigating risks in commercial contracts, flagging significant issues promptly. • Stay abreast of legal and regulatory trends, applying this knowledge to ensure business compliance and innovation.
Requirements
• 2-5 years PQE with a focus on commercial law (UK-qualified solicitors preferred). • Experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively. • A proactive, positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt. • Gambling Industry experience is an advantage • Confidence in working autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
