Description

• Join Professional Services team as a Network Automation Engineer. • Work directly with clients to implement automation solutions for complex network environments. • Utilize Itential and network automation tools for deploying efficient solutions. • Engage with clients for requirements, design solutions, and implement use cases. • Build and troubleshoot Itential orchestrations and automations using APIs, JSON, JavaScript, and Jinja2 templates. • Deliver projects following Agile methodology and automate network processes using Ansible, Python, etc. • Collaborate with clients to adopt Itential’s solutions, addressing network goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. • Minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing network automation role, ideally within a professional services or consulting setting. • Real-world experience providing technical leadership on network implementation projects. • Problem solving, troubleshooting, reviewing log files, debugging. • Being self-sufficient, but also helpful with peers. • Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management. • Proficiency in a Linux environment shell. • Proficient in Python scripting and working knowledge of JSON and Jinja2 templating. • Understanding of network devices and configurations across SD-WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers. • Knowledge of Terraform/OpenTofu and cloud networking environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. • Hands-on experience with the Itential Automation Platform is a plus.
