• The Operations Support Specialist will troubleshoot and resolve escalated software and infrastructure-related issues and challenges. They will assist in configuring and supporting customer environments, code deployments, optimization, and supporting various tools. They will be responsible for managing monitoring and logging solutions, identifying issues proactively and mitigating them, contributing to the continuous improvement of our managed services practice, and exploring and evaluating new and emerging software tools and technologies. • The nature of the work will require the Operations Support Specialist to use a variety of tools to tackle a broad range of issues relating to both cloud and DevOps specific issues as projects continuously enter and exit the pipeline. • The successful candidate will have exposure to automation tools and the end-to-end build and deployment processes, experience with Linux or Windows administration within a high availability environment, experience with continuous integration tools including Jenkins, and experience managing and supporting AWS or other cloud environments. They should have a can-do, results-focused attitude that drives their customer focus, be self-motivated with an understanding of what it means to work as a team, have curiosity and a passion for experimenting with new technologies, and be flexible with rotating daytime shifts and participating in after-hours on-call.
• 1+ years of practical experience and preferably certification in AWS. It will be a bonus if you have worked with Jenkins, Git or Atlassian. • Exposure to automation tools and the end-to-end build and deployment processes. • Experience with Linux or Windows administration within a high availability environment. • Experience with continuous integration tools including Jenkins. • Experience managing and supporting AWS or other cloud environments. • A can-do, results-focused attitude that drives your customer focus. • Self-motivated with an understanding of what it means to work as a team. • Curiosity and a passion for experimenting with new technologies. • Flexibility. • The successful candidate will work on platform functionality challenges and play a critical role in ensuring iTMethods delivers a resilient, monitored, highly secured and complete solution. They will also take on the subject matter expert role and advise customers on their Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence) and DevOps tools and cloud workloads, hone their functional expertise on these tools by providing practical support to customers using this toolset, engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement, and apply and expand their technical expertise including support for obtaining professional certification in AWS, Atlassian, and Jenkins.
