📋 Description

• Handle complex Drupal development tasks, ensuring optimised and high-quality code • Create and customise Drupal modules to enhance website functionality • Coordinate with the Drupal Tech Lead, architects, and other developers for cohesive development • Seamlessly integrate third-party applications using Drupal APIs • Ensure optimal website performance, speed, and scalability • Ensure the development process adheres to best practices, industry standards, and organisational coding guidelines • Implement and maintain Drupal security best practices to ensure secure and hack-proof websites • Guide and support junior developers, sharing expertise and fostering professional growth • Create detailed documentation related to code, architecture decisions, and development practices • Engage in Agile methodologies, partaking in sprints, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings • Conduct and participate in code review sessions, ensuring code quality and consistency

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on Drupal • Minimum 8 years of in-depth knowledge of Drupal (8 & 9 or 10) architecture and module development, Drupal multisite and migration (Drupal 7 to Drupal 8/9/10). • Acquia Certification and Acquia-based solutions experience. • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database architecture and optimisations for Drupal • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and non-technical colleagues • Mastery of GIT and understanding of version control best practices • Good understanding of modern front-end technologies such as React and React frameworks like NextJS as well as CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, Tailwind etc. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with an eye for detail. • Nice to Have: Active contributions to the Drupal community or other open-source initiatives • Drupal developer certification or other relevant industry certifications • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab • Understanding of containerisation tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
