• Develop new algorithms that characterize and model the way software developers write code, create documentation, and collaborate • Contribute to marketing blog posts that present exploratory research on the practices of developers for the software community • Learn the basics of how to develop machine learning models that are deployed in production • Create and present novel analyses to help specific companies better understand their development process • Explore fundamental research in areas of computer science, applied mathematics, and machine learning
Requirements
• You have good fundamental skills in programming in any language • You enjoy working with real-world data and are excited about testing your ideas and creations in partnership with real customers • You love learning new things and teaching others what you know • You have strong communication skills and enjoy working as part of a cross-functional team • Previous internship/co-op experience • Bonus points if you have experience with: • Standard Python libraries for data science (e.g. pandas, scikit-learn) • Research projects outside of formal coursework
