📋 Description
• Jellyvision ALEX®, is on a mission to improve lives by helping people choose and use their benefits. • As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership for a cross-functional team consisting of application and test engineers. • Write well-designed, reliable, and maintainable code. • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to define high level system requirements. • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to ensure code quality and best practices.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience developing full-stack web applications • Proficient in React • Proficiency coding in Ruby on Rails and/or Python • Understanding of relational databases (experience writing raw SQL is a bonus) • Understands how to consume internal and external APIs • Automated testing (unit, integration, and functional tests) • Use of source control tools (we use git) • Familiarity with container orchestration; ie. Docker • Familiarity with CI/CD and pipelines • Experience in AWS or other cloud environments (DevOps experience is a bonus) • Bonus: Experience with a headless CMS
