• The Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute seeks a collaborative and organized person to serve as a part-time Research Assistant. • The Research Assistant will support the work of the Children’s Specialty Healthcare Team. • Their research will focus on youth and young adults with developmental disabilities and mental health concerns. • Some duties may require access to reliable personal transportation. • Conduct literature reviews and summarize research articles and online resources related to developmental disabilities and mental health. • Organize research in a spreadsheet. • Provide feedback on presentations developed by other Meadows Institute staff. • Participate in project meetings. • Other duties as assigned.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to navigate research databases to find relevant articles and then summarize and synthesize relevant key findings. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues in a remote environment. • Capacity to think strategically, critically, and respond analytically. • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. • Participated in a post-secondary program (18+ program, course at a college or university).
