• Jobgether has ALL remote jobs globally. • We match you to roles where you're most likely to succeed. • For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior SysOps Engineer, working remotely from Poland. • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior SysOps Engineer who excels in cloud infrastructure, system design, and DevOps practices. • In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage cloud environments, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and reliable. • You’ll collaborate closely with various teams to uphold best practices, resolve production issues, and contribute to system improvements. • The ideal candidate is self-driven, solution-oriented, and thrives in a fully remote environment with an international team. • Accountabilities: • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure to support business operations. • Develop and maintain best practices and standards for system management. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize platform performance. • Ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and secure. • Proactively prevent and resolve production issues.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SysOps role. • Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, RDS, and S3. • Proficient in Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab, Jenkins), and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation). • Solid experience in Linux-based systems (Amazon Linux preferred). • Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB. • Programming experience (Python preferred). • Proficiency in log management tools like Elasticsearch, Fluentd, or Logstash. • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. • Experience in international teams is a plus.
