Description

• Developing comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements, with a strong focus on automation • Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium • Performing data validation and integrity checks on large data sets to ensure accuracy and compliance, leveraging automation where possible • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using Jira, and collaborating with development teams for prompt resolution • Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable software releases • Implementing and maintaining best practices for QA processes, focusing on automation to enhance efficiency and coverage • Conducting automated performance tests to evaluate system performance and scalability using tools like JMeter • Ensuring security tests are automated within the development pipeline. • Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Proficiency in English at a C2 or native level, both written and spoken • Fluency in French, Spanish, or African languages (such as Kenyan or Ugandan) is a plus • Previous experience in a similar role within the Fintech industry is advantageous • Proven expertise in QA with a strong emphasis on automated testing and scripting • Proficiency in scripting languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, and Bash for developing automated tests • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools like Selenium and familiarity with test automation frameworks • Experience in testing applications that handle large volumes of data, including data validation and integrity checks
