Description

• The Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization. • Responsible for managing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to guide decision-making. • Develop and supervise the company's annual budget, as well as make medium and long-term financial projections. • Monitor and analyze operating costs, ensuring they remain within budget and looking for opportunities to optimize them. • Perform detailed financial analysis to assess the profitability of projects and lines of business. • Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet financial obligations by monitoring cash flow and planning financing needs. • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting, monthly and annual closings, and compliance with local regulations. • Prepare regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and variance analysis. • Ensure compliance with all local and regional tax laws and regulations. • Coordinate internal and external audits, providing the necessary documentation and reports. • Evaluate investment opportunities and manage the company's investment portfolio, if applicable. • Identify and mitigate financial risks that may affect the economic stability of the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. • At least 4-6 years of experience in financial management roles is required, preferably in organizations in the social impact sector. • Expertise in financial reporting, budget consolidation, and cash flow management. • Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software, with the ability to analyze financial data by project and contract. • Familiarity with auditing processes and internal financial controls. • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and frameworks. • Knowledge of multi-currency management and foreign exchange rates. • Ability to prepare financial forecasts and conduct variance analysis. • NGO background or experience is preferred. • Fluency in Spanish and English, with French as a plus. • Advanced Excel skills, particularly in budgeting and financial analysis. • Autonomy and ability to work independently. • Proactivity and creativity. • Attention to detail. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong communication skills. • Flexibility.
