Description

• Create, execute and maintain manual and automated testing scripts. • Collaborate with developers, business system analysts, product owners, and stakeholders. • Test software as part of SDLC. • Review functional and design specifications. • Perform backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment. • Identify test requirements from specifications and map test case requirements. • Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts. • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report results. • Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes as necessary. • Provide solid and well documented automation and testing. • Communicate effectively with team members and senior engineering staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field required. • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related experience required. • Experience in a QA role in support of web and analytics development strongly preferred. • Experience with automation, and/or a combination of course work and hands-on work with automation, preferred. • Certifications (CSQA, CSTE) preferred. • Experience in higher education preferred. • Familiar with agile methodologies. • Strong working knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies. • Experience with testing tools such as LambdaTest, QTest etc. • Experience with Cross-Browser Testing tools e.g. BrowserStack, Litmus. • Very strong SQL abilities (MSQL). • Understanding of software engineering and web development, the full SDLC.
