Description
• The Manager of Data Engineering & Analytics role is under Finance & Accounting • Reports into the Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics space • Ideal candidate will possess a robust background in data engineering • Expertise in cloud technologies, data architecture, data modeling, data integration • Will increase awareness about available data and democratize access across the company • Will enable exploration and access for analytics, visualization, machine learning • Collaborate with data scientists to share passion for trends and new technologies
Requirements
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in hands-on execution of data transformation programs • Strong understanding of data life cycle stages • Advanced experience in data environments • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in developing and implementing both tactical and strategic solutions • Minimum 1-2 years of management experience • Strong experience in Cloud services platform tech stack • Coding expertise in SQL, BigQuery SQL, Python, and R • A Bachelor’s degree in MIS, mathematics, statistics, or computer science • Familiarity with data modeling and data visualization tools • Understanding of machine learning algorithms • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures • Experience with machine learning packages
