• Under supervision, obtains quality physician documentation for clinical conditions • Educates patient care team on documentation guidelines • Ensures quality documentation and compliance • Participates in customer service and relationship maintenance • Reviews medical records for documentation compliance • Completes data input into CDI Software • Recognizes documentation improvement opportunities • Communicates with healthcare providers for documentation accuracy
🎯 Requirements
• Associate and 5+ years experience • 5 years acute care • 2+ years CDI experience • Current active State license as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant or an unlicensed physician with eligibility for ECFMG Certification • CCDS or CDIP certification
