📋 Description

• Advocate for customer needs throughout the product development process; if it doesn’t benefit them, it doesn’t benefit us. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—engineering, design, and business stakeholders—to define and prioritize product features and enhancements for internal tools. • Develop experimentation-driven product roadmaps that align with organizational goals and market needs, focusing on solutions for user-driven configuration and management. • Gather and analyze requirements from internal stakeholders, translating them into functional specifications and actionable user stories. • Oversee implementation of market-specific flows to ensure compliance with market requirements and maintain competitive positioning. • Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to inform product decisions and prioritize features. • Champion no-code configuration tools to empower stakeholders to manage workflows independently. • Provide training and support to users, maximizing the effectiveness of internal systems. • Lead a team of engineers through the full product lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, testing, and iteration. • Maintain continuous discovery and evaluation of new ideas, insights, and feature candidates. • Manage dependencies between product areas and devise creative strategies to bring products to market. • Monitor the health of your product area using data and customer feedback.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred. • 5-7+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. • Prior experience in a growth role, or a strong desire to lead an experimentation-driven roadmap. • Expertise in customer discovery, planning, and product development processes; deep understanding of customer-centric product practices. • Strong analytical mindset, proficient in SQL for analyzing data sets to build the business case for product opportunities. • Eager to engage in primary research, listening to and learning from customers to inform product decisions. • Strong judgment and the ability to prioritize projects, focusing the team on what matters most. • A roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic and a "do-what-it-takes" attitude to efficiently execute and drive results in a fast-paced environment. • High-caliber business writing, process mapping, and user storyboarding skills to clearly articulate complex ideas and rationale to diverse audiences. • Exceptional leadership abilities; naturally collaborative and skilled at influencing without direct authority. • Experience with AWS best practices preferred.
