📋 Description
• Responsible for multiple clients (25 - 30 monthly) • Prepare year-end closeout • W2s & 1099 reporting • Enter and classify client data • Handle routine client questions • Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations • Utilize QuickBooks with ability to train clients • Fixed Asset Tracking • Prepare financial statements for CPA review • Prepare journal entries for month and year-end close • Prepare Payroll, Sales & Use Tax Returns, Property Tax Returns • Assisting with ad-hoc projects & Tax Return preparations as needed
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but candidates with strong equivalent experience will be considered • 1+ yrs of full charge accounting experience in public accounting with a strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with clients and coworkers • Knowledge/experience with preparing quarterly tax estimates is a plus • Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation • Organizational skills, attention to detail and time-management skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Comfortable working on multiple open projects and clients at one time • Intimate knowledge of Intuit platforms and fluent in Microsoft suite, proficient with QuickBooks (Online); experience with Practice CS is a plus • Energized professional with a client first mentality • Positive, team-oriented mindset
