📋 Description

• Investigate causes and origins of failures in electrical systems and components. • Analyze failures, evaluate construction quality, and review design/maintenance procedures. • Perform field investigations and document damaged property. • Research failure modes and provide repair recommendations. • Prepare clear, thorough reports and documentation for clients. • Participate in multidisciplinary teams on complex assignments. • Maintain relationships with clients and consultants. • Stay updated with company policies and participate in training.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering required. • Over 5 years of experience in evaluating electrical system failures in a commercial or industrial setting preferred. • Requires active Professional Engineering (PE) license; minimum required of resident state. • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. • Computer skills (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint). • Desire to learn, excel, and grow within the profession. • Expert witness testimony experience is a plus (preferred). • Multi-state PE licensing and/or active NCEES Record preferred.
