📋 Description
• All roles at JumpCloud are Remote unless specified. • JumpCloud® delivers a unified open directory platform for managing identities, devices, and access. • The Data Engineer will have a crucial role supporting stakeholders across business units. • Responsible for developing data pipelines, curating and modeling data, designing databases. • Collaborate with analytics and technical teams to maintain data pipelines and support insights. • Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic about data, prioritize projects, and coordinate execution.
🎯 Requirements
• Intermediate knowledge and experience in SQL and relational databases; Snowflake experience highly preferred. • Intermediate knowledge in database design, data modeling, data infrastructure, data pipelines, and ELT processes; DBT, Airflow, Fivetran, AWS, and GitHub experiences are highly preferred. • Intermediate understanding of coding and markup languages to create complex queries; understanding of company data architecture. • Intermediate experience with scripting languages such as Python (numpy, pandas). • Understanding of analytical skills and a passion for data storytelling and quantitative analysis. • Knowledge of one or more business Intelligence/data visualization tools; Tableau experience highly preferred. • Mentoring skills and strong attention to detail. • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills. • Strong project management and organizational skills; Agile experience is a plus. • Experience with Data Governance best practices. • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field preferred.
