Description
• Based in Los Angeles and London, UK, developing technology for auto insurance. • Seeking full-time Staff Accountant to support Financial Controller with financial information. • Responsibilities include managing full-cycle accounting duties and payroll processing.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 8+ years of experience in an AP/AR/Payroll accounting • Monthly Close and Account Reconciliations • Strong organizational skills • Ability to work under pressure to meet a deadline • Good communication skills verbal and written • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems, including processing systems and applications
Benefits
• CPA certification is a plus • Sage Intacct experience • Experience in supporting the introduction of new accounting software • Insurance company experience (P&C insurers preferably) • Insurance Accounting experience is strongly preferred • Group Consolidation experience is strongly preferred • UK bookkeeping experience • UK VAT filing experience • Intercompany billing experience • Experience in multi-currency bookkeeping and reporting
