• Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect with a strong background in the banking industry, application rationalization, and data management. • Design and implement a robust, scalable enterprise architecture framework that aligns with the banking industry's regulatory requirements. • Lead efforts in application rationalization, including evaluating existing applications and consolidating systems. • Define and implement data architecture principles, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security across the organization. • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain technology roadmaps to drive innovation and efficiency. • Drive cloud adoption strategies and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring a seamless transition from on-premises systems to cloud-based solutions. • Partner with business leaders and IT teams to understand business needs and propose solutions. • Ensure adherence to industry standards and implement governance frameworks to manage risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • A Master’s degree is a plus. • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, with a strong focus on the banking industry. • Proven experience in application rationalization, optimizing application portfolios, and reducing IT complexity. • Solid background in data architecture, including data modeling, data integration, and data governance. • Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and understanding of hybrid cloud environments. • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and service-oriented architecture (SOA). • Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and middleware. • Familiarity with data management platforms, ETL tools, and data governance frameworks. • Proficiency in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges. • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
