📋 Description

• We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help design and deliver highly scalable, intelligent systems that power our Digital Coworkers. • You'll work across the stack to build performant, async-first APIs and modern web applications with a focus on speed, reliability, and developer experience. • This role is for someone who writes clean code, understands system design, and isn't afraid to leverage AI tools to move faster, debug smarter, and explore solutions more effectively. • Roots Automation combines machine intelligence and human ingenuity to create AI that reads, reasons, and infers like humans. • This is your chance to shape the future of AI-driven automation, working with cutting-edge technologies while making a lasting impact on our core products. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications. • Develop web applications using ReactJS, NextJS, and TypeScript ensuring responsiveness and efficiency. • Build and optimize APIs and backend services using Python (FastAPI). • Integrate databases and manage data storage solutions (SQL Server, PostgreSQL). • Ensure seamless frontend-backend integration, collaborating across teams. • Optimize performance, applying techniques like lazy loading, caching, and microservices architecture. • Develop reusable components and libraries, improving development efficiency. • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of the full-stack system. • Write clean, maintainable code, following best practices and industry standards. • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, enhancing user experiences. • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with modern technologies. • Deep expertise in ReactJS, NextJS, and modern frontend tooling (TypeScript, Webpack, etc.). • Strong backend experience with FastAPI (Python) and Node.js (TypeScript). • Experience designing and consuming asynchronous APIs and working with task queues/event-driven architecture. • Proficiency in SQL/PostgreSQL and database management. • Experience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred). • Understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and scalability. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams. • Experience with GraphQL, Express.js, or Prisma. • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and Docker. • Knowledge of microservices architecture and system design principles.
