📋 Description

• The Senior Accountant position will report to the Accounting Manager/Supervisor and contribute to the overall accuracy and quality of financial statements. • Apply accounting judgment and a clear understanding of the company’s processes and systems to support business partners. • Primary responsibilities include financial statements preparation, fixed assets assessment, inventory leases maintenance, payroll accuracy analysis, and revenue/expense documentation. • Reconcile balance sheets, create journal entries, and prepare month end close entries.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree - Accounting major • Minimum 3 year accounting experience (combined industry or internship) • GAAP expertise derived through industry experience and accounting education relating but not limited to balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement analysis/preparation/review, fixed assets, inventory, journal entries, leases, payroll, and revenue/expense recognition (varies by team) • Detail oriented, strategic/critical thinker with advanced problem solving skills • Microsoft Excel proficiency • Exemplary presentation, verbal, and written communication skillset • Demonstrated ability to independently exercise judgment and discretion while performing both individual and team tasks • CPA or CPA track (preferred) • Graduate degree (preferred) • Oracle/BNA/ePBCS or comparable accounting software experience (preferred)
