Description

• Keebo is a venture-backed startup offering a cloud-based Data Learning platform. • Hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build an exciting new product in data warehouse tooling. • Work with product and customers to understand query performance tuning needs. • Create new greenfield products designed for fast iterations based on feedback. • Build scalable and reliable systems for customers. • Mentor team on data warehouse integrations and scalable systems.

Requirements

• Previous startup experience • Previous experience working on a product in the critical path for data warehouse queries • Skilled in partnering with product to build new products and features from the ground up • Significant experience with application performance tooling including tracing, root causing, and proactive monitoring • Skilled in troubleshooting complex production bugs, resolving them quickly, and developing ways to improve system stability in the future • Experienced in architecting and developing fault-tolerant solutions at massive scale for backend applications on cloud platforms • Experienced in developing and maintaining automated tests, and comfortable working with modern CI/CD tools • Strong asynchronous communication skills • Experience with databases, data warehouses, and big data processing tools • Comfortable working with large datasets from different database backends using SQL • Comfortable working with SaaS platforms • Background in developing custom proxies • Experience with CDW (Cloud Data Warehouse) such as Snowflake, DataBricks, BigQuery or RedShift • Strong desire to mentor others in engineering best practices, and lead their team in continuous improvement • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, where responding to customer feedback quickly and product pivots are common
