📋 Description

•Keller Postman represents a broad array of clients in class and mass actions, individual arbitrations, and multidistrict litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels in federal and state courts. •Serving hundreds of thousands of clients in litigation and arbitration, we have prosecuted high-profile mass tort, antitrust, privacy, product liability, employment, and consumer-rights cases. •Our firm also acts as plaintiffs’ counsel in high-stakes public-enforcement actions. •Keller Postman seeks a diligent, detail-oriented, and collaborative Workup and Settlement Attorney to lead a pod of Case Managers working on cases eligible for settlements in a large consolidated mass tort. •This role focuses on managing decision points for case progression, preparing cases for settlement, guiding clients through the offer process, and collaborating with legal assistants and other team members. •This attorney will also participate in the elevation rotation on a regular basis.

🎯 Requirements

•Openness to learn and perform unconventional, heterogeneous legal work that requires intensive interaction with clients and non-lawyer colleagues. This is not a conventional litigation role. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Word, and Adobe Acrobat. •Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail. •Ability to function well in a fast-paced, demanding environment. •Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. •Excellent time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. •Ability to maintain a good temperament and demonstrate empathy when dealing with clients in stressful situations. •Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgment. •Ability to multi-task and work independently or as part of a team. •Experience with Salesforce (ideally) or other CRM or case management software. •Experience reviewing medical records and familiarity with medical terminology--especially for cancers and related conditions.
