📋 Description
• Kentik is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to play a high-visibility, leadership role on a team building a new product in the network monitoring system space. • You will gain experience building a production quality, high performance server-and-client SaaS application that handles uniquely high volumes of data. • We have built a team of world-class engineers, network experts, and technology thought leaders in a remote-friendly culture from day one.
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years of relevant experience • Experience driving technical direction for teams, leading small teams, and mentoring across all experience levels • Passion for what you do and a willingness to grow and contribute to our team • Knowledge of key technologies for network infrastructure monitoring, including SNMP, Streaming Telemetry, OpenConfig/YANG, and NetFlow • Deep experience working on large scale SaaS products • Significant experience with Go or C/C++ with a strong preference for Go experience • SQL and DBMS proficiency, especially with Postgres
