Description
• Managing the firm’s compliance with FDIC recordkeeping regulations • Compile and validate periodic data output for regulatory authorities • Communicate trends and data issues to stakeholders • Maintain policies and procedures for regulatory reporting integrity • First line of business responsible for communicating impact of changes to reporting instructions • Create business requirement documents and collaborate with teams to validate processes • Maximize use of automated technology to improve production processes
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience working in banking or financial services industry • Bachelor’s degree (or on path to obtain) in Finance, Accounting, MIS or related field • Relevant professional certification – e.g., CPA • Working knowledge of FDIC regulatory reporting requirements • Basic experience using large, complex data sets from multiple sources to support analytical processes • Ability to understand and interpret regulatory reporting requirements • Quantitative, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
