• Work with Engineering Leadership and Product Managers to understand user stories and technical design requirements. • Set standards and improve overall quality of repos. • Take an idea from product team and architect/design a solution. • Describe the implementation to the development team. • Work closely with product managers through development lifecycle. • Refine Jira Tickets. • Create Technical Jira Tickets. • Add well documented technical details to tickets. • Perform and manage code reviews including finding issues with changes. • Enforce unit testing, and ensure code reviews are happening across team. • Arbitrate any conflicts. • Monitor & handle build/deployment failures. • Attend project planning and kickoff meetings to hear business requirements. • Coordinate well with QA team. • Research and troubleshoot FE and BE bugs. • Attend/Lead team sprint meetings and agile ceremonies. • Build expertise of technologies, practices, projects, features, etc. • Build a collaborative engineering team environment, including problem solving with engineers.

Requirements

• Tech Lead and Full-stack development experience, 5+ years as an Engineer • Expertise with .Net/C# and Angular, specifically: .net6+ Angular 13+ • Additional technologies may include: Javascript, HTML/CSS, Contentful, GitLab, GCP tools, SQL Server, Mongo • Experience building web-based applications & working in a cloud-native development environment • Experience within agile development teams, including working directly in pods of 5+ engineers • Proactive communication skills with the ability to articulate complex implementations to developers and non-developers alike. • Can communicate on status and effectively update leadership
