Description

• Provide short term, solution focused treatment to individual adults and/or couples referred to you by our EAP Counseling staff. • Conduct 45-minute counseling sessions via telephone and/or video. • Assess clients to determine if they need assistance or additional treatment beyond the EAP sessions. • Work with other members of the KGA team to assist clients in finding additional resources as needed. • Caseload will depend upon hours worked. Number of sessions available to each client will be determined by employer’s EAP contract (usually 3-8 sessions).

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling • A minimum of 3 years’ post graduate experience • LICSW, LMHC or PhD (must be licensed to the highest degree in MA) • Foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy • Experience with solution focused work. • Trauma informed care, substance misuse, couple’s treatment, stress management, mindfulness, and grief counseling experience preferred. • Culturally competent with diverse, multi-cultural, and LGBTQIA+ populations; bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.
