📋 Description
• Support the development and execution of a communications strategy that amplifies MHET’s energy justice and energy democracy initiatives. • Responsible for creating and managing written content across digital and print platforms, including social media, newsletters, and educational materials. • Conduct research to inform messaging, ensure accuracy and consistency, and collaborate with the Communications and Outreach team to enhance engagement. • Help drive awareness and participation in MHET’s energy justice efforts.
🎯 Requirements
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and compelling way through the written word. • Experience with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. • Knowledge of and passion for clean energy, environmental sustainability, social justice, and community engagement, with a strong understanding of the importance of building a sustainable and equitable future. • Experience working with diverse communities and a commitment to equity and inclusion • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills. • Experience working with Google Ads, WordPress, Hubspot, and Asana is a plus. • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
