Description
• Research, plan and design a variety of electrical systems for buildings and structures • Prepare code compliant plans and coordinate drawings for designs • Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary design teams • Collaborate with all disciplines to prepare presentations and documents • Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFIs
Requirements
• BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology • PE License a plus but not required • 5+ years of building and industrial experience in a consulting engineering design firm • Experience with Federal and Government projects a plus • Experience with a broad range of electrical engineering designs • Track record of successful design, quality control and construction administration • Be a quick, flexible thinker and problem-solver • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM/Revit a plus • Ability to obtain government clearances
