Description

•The Compliance Counsel will manage and enhance compliance initiatives •Co-develop and implement internal controls to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements •Advise on various laws and regulations •Advise on economic sanctions, export and import compliance, antitrust, anti-corruption/bribery, anti-money laundering, privacy, and other ethics and compliance regulations •Support encryption export classifications and reports to U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security and Office of Foreign Assets Control •Manage and conduct restricted party screenings •Implement and enhance policies/protocols/SOPs for risk mitigation and compliance •Identify risk areas and assist in program modifications to prevent illegal/unethical conduct •Provide education and guidance to employees on ethics and compliance matters •Implement systems to measure compliance program effectiveness •Conduct audits on compliance policies adherence •Assist in investigations of suspected violations of company policies •Assess changes in relevant laws, regulations, and rules •Collaborate with attorneys on compliance legal activities •Develop and enhance compliance initiatives •Support management of Whistleblower Hotline as requested

Requirements

•Licensed Attorney in good standing •Must have a law degree from an ABA accredited school •Must be admitted to a recognized bar •1+ years of experience in legal compliance working for a U.S. headquartered SaaS company with international presence •Knowledge of SaaS technology/cybersecurity industry •Strong verbal and written communications •Strong interpersonal and presentation skills •Excellent time management and organization skills •Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships between the organization’s business units •Ability to work both independently and as a team •Ability to work well under pressure •Ability to handle high volumes of work at a fast pace
