Description

• Design and implement gameplay systems for our projects, collaborating closely with other programmers and the production team. • Serve as an individual contributor in gameplay development, identifying and mitigating potential risks during the development process. • Solve engineering problems using sound software engineering principles, design patterns, and performance optimization techniques. • Champion engineering excellence at Kokku and with our clients' development efforts. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in game development with a strong engineering background. • Shipped two or more games and experience with multiplatform development. • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C++ or C#. • Experience developing gameplay systems for previous projects and familiarity with Unreal Engine (UE4 or UE5), Unity, and other proprietary engines. • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and technical insight. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Accountability to consistently meet and exceed performance expectations. • High emotional intelligence and problem-solving mindset. • Solid debugging and optimization skills. • Enjoy solving challenging technical problems with effective solutions. • Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize work within deadlines. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Adaptability to changing needs and requirements.
