Description
• To plan, design and execute hot migration an existing DC setup (twin failover DC’s) to latest hardware specification. • The role includes the co-ordination of the migration of 200+ applications into the new infrastructure. • Responsibilities include: Datacenter Design, Infrastructure Planning, System Migration, Compliance and Standards, Documentation, Collaboration.
Requirements
• More than 10 years experience in a DC and application migration projects for global organizations • Fluency in English language (Min C1). • Willing to work flexible hours, Monday to Friday. • During switch over phase may be evenings and weekends • Willingness to travel to multiple countries (10% of time) • Should have very good knowledge of VMWare, Network configuration and DC architectures • Ability to work under time constraints, multi-task and meet deadlines. • Should be a leader & able to work collaboratively with onsite and offshore teams. • Excellent Verbal and written Communication skills.
