Description
• With guidance, design, develop, and maintain microservices • Develop software components impacting customers and Kong • Contribute to complex product integration efforts • Implement and maintain services like identity, search, and provisioning • Design and implement solutions to technical problems • Support services in production by participating in an on-call rotation • Write automated tests to ensure code behavior and avoid regressions • Mentor team members • Perform additional tasks required by manager
Requirements
• 5+ years working in a team to develop, deliver, and maintain complex software solutions • Expertise in Typescript and JavaScript • Experience designing, prototyping, building, and debugging microservices architectures and distributed systems • Experience developing and supporting a large-scale SaaS platform • Expertise in designing and writing APIs and API lifecycle management • Expertise with data modeling in relational and NoSQL databases • Working knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes • Understanding of and development with git and GitHub workflows • Expertise in test-driven development and automated testing • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
