Description

• Your main goals will be: building application models and coding the logic behind the user-facing components and the database of web apps. You will be asked to focus on the performance, usability, accessibility, and adaptability of the apps. • Integrate user-facing and server-side components. • Build reusable code and libraries for future use. • Optimize app performance for speed and scalability. • Implement security and data protection measures. • Design and implement data storage solutions. • Review, refactor, and maintain codebases. • Deploy web apps in several established environments.

Requirements

• Relevant PHP experience in the last 4 years (Must Have): • PHP 7.0+ • OOP (Classes, Inheritance, Method Overloading) • Coding Standards (eg: PSR12) • Error Handling/Logging • Migrations • Proficient in: PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, SQL Database(s), HTTP Protocol (Understand Methods, Response Codes, and their use), HTML, CSS, SCSS, Javascript, Front End Frameworks (One or more of jQuery, Angular, React), Shell Scripting (One or more of sh, bash, ...) • Tools: Git (understands Branches, Commits, Pull, Push, Merge, Conflicts, Rebase), IDE (One or more of VS Code, PHPStorm, Eclipse, ...) • Experience with SQL-based databases (Must Have) • English proficiency (B2) (Must Have) • Experience with cloud-based applications: • One of (AWS, ...) • Deployment • Monitoring/Alerts • Logging • Experience with Security methods: • Authentication Methods • Session Management • Encryption / Decryption
