• At Kpler, we are dedicated to helping our clients navigate complex markets with ease. • By simplifying global trade information and providing valuable insights, we empower organisations to make informed decisions in commodities, energy, and maritime sectors. • Since our founding in 2014, we have focused on delivering top-tier intelligence through user-friendly platforms. • Our team of over 500 experts from 35+ countries works tirelessly to transform intricate data into actionable strategies. • The Supply and Demand (S&D) team is building a data product that provides a comprehensive picture of the commodities supply value chain. • The team is operating a complex data pipeline that pulls data from external sources, normalizes, transforms and finally publishes to various channels. • The team is currently scaling the S&D product by adding new types of commodities and reworking the data pipeline to make it faster, more flexible and more robust.
Requirements
• Have at least 4 years of experience as a full stack developer, including hands on experience with Python, Postgres, NextJS and VueJS • Understanding and commit to software craftsmanship principles • Can design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs. • Can design and implement relevant and responsive user interfaces • Experience designing data pipelines, especially using Python and Airflow • Experience with cloud engineering and IaS tools (Terraform, Kubernetes) • Exposition to messaging middleware
