• Our Krakenites are a world-class team with crypto conviction, united by our desire to discover and unlock the potential of crypto and blockchain technology. • Kraken is a mission-focused company rooted in crypto values. • As a fully remote company, we have Krakenites in 70+ countries who speak over 50 languages. • Krakenites are industry pioneers who develop premium crypto products for experienced traders, institutions, and newcomers to the space. • Join our Crypto team to help integrate Kraken’s systems with an ever-expanding universe of cryptocurrencies and blockchains. • This team is responsible for developing & supporting crypto operations including deposits, withdrawals & staking. • You will be responsible for building systems that communicate with various blockchains to enable the timely processing of client transactions, while also ensuring the safety and security of all funds on the exchange.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of backend development experience • Generalist knowledge of layer-1 blockchain development • Strong backend development experience, with proficiency in Typescript (Node.js) and/or Rust • Deep understanding of cryptographic concepts and scalable application design • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and GNU/Linux environments • Proficiency in code versioning tools (Git) and experience with automated testing frameworks • Passion for secure, privacy-focused blockchain solutions and a general interest in cryptocurrencies • Resilience and adaptability in rapidly evolving technical landscapes
