• Assisting Directors and Staff in initiating and processing all property tax appeals in a timely manner • Researching new and current property tax legislation and Pollution Control Exemption Statutes • Identifying tax savings strategies • Acquiring and reviewing property tax returns, property tax assessments, and tax bills in regards to specialized property tax solutions • Assisting in the preparation of valuation arguments/deliverables and negotiating values with assessment officials
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Earth and Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Environmental and Policy Management, Environmental, Sustainability and Governance, Finance, Accounting or Economics from an accredited university or college • Expected graduation date before August 2026 • Minimum current Major GPA of 3.0 • Motivated by multiple projects and competing deadlines • Strong analytical, comprehension, research and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Commitment to obtaining outstanding results • Desire to be an integral member of a fast-paced, dynamic team • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
