• Manage and administer the backbone of our technological infrastructure. • Configure, install and maintain database management systems. • Ensure long-term success of our business operations. • Manage user access and implement security standards. • Develop strong backup and recovery plans. • Support end users and application developers in solving complex problems. • Implement policies and procedures to safeguard our data. • Conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on usage. • Propose and implement enhancements for system performance.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 7+ years of Experience in Database Administration. • Configure Databases in accordance with logical data model. • Database users’ creation with required privileges. • Assist in debugging application performance issues. • Perform SQL query tuning to improve performance. • Strong understanding of MySQL database concepts, including query optimization, indexing, and database design. • Expertise in managing Amazon Aurora MySQL clusters. • Proficiency in AWS services like IAM, CloudWatch, and RDS. • Experience with database scripting languages like SQL and PL/SQL for automation and data manipulation. • Familiarity with database security best practices.
