📋 Description
• As a Systems Programmer, you'll develop, test, and maintain the software that controls a computer's operating system. • You'll troubleshoot complex issues and work with IT professionals to implement technology solutions. • Your role includes providing Mainframe operating system platform programming support and conducting RCA discussions. • You'll influence technology landscape through the programming of critical systems and manage teams for project success.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in z/OS operating system installation, maintenance, configuration, and support. • Experience with IBM program products, standard mainframe ISV/OEM software products (BMC, Broadcom/CA, others). • Excels in problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Experience with zOS subsystems (JES3 & JES2, SMS, RACF/ACF2). • Experience with TCP/IP, NetView / SysView, FTP, SFTP, Connect: Direct, VIPA, DVIPA, etc. ideally in a complex GDPS environment • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
