•Immediate opening for a Systems Engineer in Fort Wayne, IN •Support a growing missile warning/missile defense business •Familiar with the design, development, integration, and testing of remote sensing payloads •Help design the next generation of space systems •Improve current on orbit systems
🎯 Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience •Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience •Active secret security clearance or higher •Experience with software development language(s), such as C/C++ or Python •Experience as part of a multi-discipline technical team •Inter-personal and communication skills, ability to interact with a cross functional team •Collaboration across all levels of leadership •Worked with general direction or supervision in a demanding environment •Experience with data analysis and/or modeling and simulation •Experience with estimating and managing costs •Experience architecting, analyzing, developing, and integrating end to end systems in areas such as EO/IR, RF, or space payload and spacecraft bus subsystems •Experience with active remote sensing payloads •Knowledge of satellite communication protocols and standards •Familiarity with geospatial information systems (GIS) and data visualization tools •Familiarity with program management, cost account management, integrated product teams
