Description

• Work at Home Bilingual Lingala-English Video-Phone Interpreter. • The Lingala Video-Telephone- Interpreter is responsible for handling calls on demand. • This position does not involve written translation. • Essential Job Functions include responding to interpreting sessions promptly and conducting interpretation.

Requirements

• Fluency in Lingala and English and skilled in the associated cultural dynamics. • Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy during interpretation. • Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, remain neutral and objective at all times. • Education or work experience in language-related fields such as teaching, language assessment, translation or interpretation preferred. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Legally authorized to work in the United States. • High school diploma or equivalent.
