We also have our data warehouse and data lake solutions to develop and power our AI/ML developments. • We are looking for a seasoned DBA to support engineering teams in their day to day work. Technology selection, data modelling, query optimization, monitoring & troubleshooting issues, etc. are continuous needs that you will help teams with. • You will not only support the teams but will be responsible for evangelizing and leveling up our engineering teams regarding their data and database. By providing guidance and training. • You will work closely with our Senior Director of Technology to build a solid data governance framework and define/execute our data strategy.
• Expert knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.) • Solid data modelling skills, including conceptual, logical and physical models. • Good knowledge of cloud services (Azure & GCP) and DevOps engineering • Excellent communicator able to create engagement and commitment from teams around you • You love solving complex puzzles with engineers from different areas and different backgrounds • You’re eager to understand how the different areas of the ecosystem connect to create the complete value chain • Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking) • Experience working within a microservice-based architecture • Experience with Data Warehousing (BigQuery, SnowFlake, Databricks, …) • Experience with Orchestration technology (Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, …) • Experience with Data Lakes and Data Warehouses
