🔬 Science

📋 Description

• Manage & develop technical and engineering concepts, scope and cost in early project phases of process improvements and capacity expansions. • Leading medium sized engineering projects (250-3 Mio € project costs). • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, plant support & driving innovation in project management processes. • Ensure Lanxess interests are maintained at Rubicon site. • Establish standards for maintenance backlog and review specific larger maintenance tasks. • Work with engineering group to identify process improvements, including carbon reduction projects. • Manage CAPEX process and track orders to satisfy customer demand.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering degree. • 5 plus years of experience in process engineering in chemical industry. • Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects on a global scale, preferably in Chemical Engineering. • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with keen attention to detail. • Project management skills, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and change management. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams. • Requires approximately 50% travel, possibly less if local to NJ.
