Description
• LastPass is looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET): • As a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test, you will collaborate with an Agile development team to build a product that serves over 5 million active users. • You will take full ownership of, and continuously improve, critical features to secure our customers' digital lives and work. • Collaborate with a strong team of enthusiastic and talented experts. • Contribute to shaping the product, designing, and shipping new features that meet customer needs. • Work within a cross-functional, agile team, taking ownership of features. • Contribute to a highly successful, customer-facing application, where your work can impact millions of users each day.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a similar role within a diverse team. • Proven experience in designing and automating test cases, both at the API and E2E levels. • Strong knowledge of Java / C# and Selenium or any other UI focused testing tool. • Experience with CI tools. • Familiarity with version control, build, and bug tracking systems, such as GitLab CI and Jira. • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and practices, with a passion for software quality. • Good understanding of the STLC and the ability to identify areas for process improvement. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • A collaborative team player. • Ability to create and establish best practices. • Efficiently contributes to the completion of complex tasks. • Consistently maintains an understanding of the big picture, while also focusing on details and specific tasks. • Excellent problem-solving skills. • Ability to transfer knowledge effectively.
