📋 Description

• Latitude AI (lat.ai) develops automated driving technologies, including L3 for Ford vehicles at scale. • Work alongside leading experts across machine learning and robotics, cloud platforms, mapping, sensors, and compute systems. • The Faults, Signals, and Modes team builds the fault monitoring software that tells vehicles whether they’re ready for autonomous operation. • Building a safety-critical fault monitoring and response system that has to run efficiently and reliably. • Collaborating with experts in machine learning, prediction/planning, sensor processing, and simulation from across product development teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or PhD and 2+ years of relevant experience) • Proven experience in developing embedded software or robotics software on a resource-constrained compute platform • At least 5 years of development experience in Python/C++ environments • Ability to design software components and systems and clearly communicate your designs through documents, diagrams, and presentations • Track record of leading cross-functional technical projects on product development teams culminating in successful launches/releases/etc
