• We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled DBA/Database Developer. • Deep expertise in managing databases in Oracle and PostgreSQL environments. • Experience in database migration and conversion is a strong plus. • Involves database design, optimization, troubleshooting, and supporting complex applications. • Fully remote position requiring active Secret clearance or higher.
Requirements
• Active Secret clearance or higher • Database Administration • Manage, maintain, and monitor Oracle and PostgreSQL databases • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of database systems • Implement database upgrades, patches, and migrations • Database Development • Design and develop database schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures • Optimize SQL queries and database performance • Collaborate with application developers • Database Conversion and Migration • Plan and execute database migration strategies • Convert database objects • Address challenges related to data type mapping and performance tuning • Automation and Monitoring • Develop and maintain automation scripts • Troubleshooting and Support • Diagnose and resolve database performance and connectivity issues • Provide on-call support as needed
