β€’ We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Accountant to join our nonprofit organization. β€’ The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling and managing payroll, general ledger, financial reporting, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and bank reconciliations. β€’ Experience in managing payroll staff is essential. β€’ The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. β€’ CPA or equivalent certification preferred. β€’ Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a nonprofit organization. β€’ Extensive experience in payroll management, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, AR, AP, and bank reconciliations. β€’ Proven experience in managing and supervising payroll staff. β€’ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and nonprofit accounting standards (GAAP). β€’ Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, Paycom). β€’ Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools. β€’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. β€’ Strong attention to detail and accuracy. β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
