Description

• Independently lead and collaborate with our engineering team to design and implement automated testing frameworks / tools • Research industry best practices and champion continued adoption of our automated testing strategy • Delivering automated tests and related artifacts using a range of modern tools in a time-constrained environment • Collaborate with team members in order to understand test scenarios and develop automated tests which perform the same actions • Complete Peer Review of pull requests for others in areas that are well known / understood • Active participation in planning, automation prioritisation, daily stand ups, demos, and retrospectives • Knowledge sharing, upskilling, and contributing to the growth of your peers and other team members • Inspire confidence in QA activities and lead change and improvements

Requirements

• At least 12 months experience mentoring / leading other QA / developer resources • Strong test development skillset (.NET, javascript) • 5+ years experience with test automation using tools such as Playwright, Specflow, etc • Competency using Visual Studio and Git source control • Demonstrated capability in testing web API + UI and mobile applications • Experience testing Microsoft Azure / Amazon AWS / SaaS solutions • Performance testing experience highly regarded • Be a self-starter, have a positive, resilient, can-do attitude, and embrace challenges • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral • Experienced with working with NZ companies • Data Engineering and AI test experience (beneficial) • Experience in the legal sector (beneficial) • Experience working in an Agile project delivery environment and daily releases (beneficial) • Azure DevOps experience (pipeline development) (beneficial) • Azure Infra-as-Code experience (ARM, bicep) (beneficial) • Recognised test certification is valued (e.g. ISEB, ISTQB) (beneficial)
