📋 Description

• Ledgebrook is seeking an experienced Claim Manager for its current book of both General Liability and Unsupported Excess liability claims. • Join our claim team whose mission is to ensure the third-party administrators who handle our claims are resolved in a timely, thorough and cost-effective manner. • As a member of the Ledgebrook Claim team, you will regularly interact with our leadership team, underwriters, actuary and IT staff as we continue developing our state-of-the-art claim management reporting and manage the quality of the claim performance of our claim handling partners. • We are looking for disciplined candidates that possess an understanding of the E&S casualty claim arena, with experience across multiple casualty market segments of construction, habitability, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, retail and mercantile. • We are flexible with both a candidate’s experience level and physical work location.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years Commercial General Liability (CGL) Bodily Injury, Property Damage and Personal and Advertising Injury claim handling experience • 5+ years of managing litigated CGL claims • 3+ years claim experience handling non-admitted market Excess and Surplus Lines claims • 2+ years of overseeing claims handled by a Third Party Administration (TPA) • 2+ years of supervising claim direct reports • Ability to analyze coverage and articulate a coverage position • Ability to create a reservation of rights or coverage decision correspondence • Experience in participating in quality assurance claim file reviews • Experience in Allied Healthcare and Professional Liability claims is a plus • Ability to work as a team player or independently in a fast-paced work environment • Innovative problem solving and solutioning skills • Responsive, customer service focused mindset and behaviors • Ability to make timely decisions with appropriate information and consultation • A strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to build and win together as a high performing team
