β€’ The Solutions Engineer (SE) works closely with commercial Integrators, Specifiers, and End Users to design Legrand | AV solutions into their projects. β€’ The SE becomes the β€œgo to” person for system design assistance, helping customers create reliable systems. β€’ Responsible for job walks, technical training, design drawings and take-offs, bill of material swaps, and ensuring exceptional experiences. β€’ Works closely with the Legrand | AV Sales Teams, Product Managers, Tech Support, and others to drive specifications and grow revenue. β€’ The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of Legrand products and AV industry technology. β€’ Must have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable with AV technology, and communicate effectively across teams.

Requirements

β€’ Keen understanding of AV Market applications β€’ Expert in Legrand | AV products and technologies β€’ Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills β€’ Ability to interface comfortably with customers, and to work effectively across the Legrand | AV organization β€’ Proficient in multiple design platforms – able to integrate Legrand products into new and existing customer system designs/ drawings β€’ Experience in installation and trouble-shooting of AV systems β€’ Proven ability to build solid customer relationships; demonstrated ability to be customer focused and responsive β€’ Ability to maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and resources β€’ Experience in technical training, and ability to present with energy and structure to all size audiences β€’ Able to work with minimal supervision, while effectively communicating and maintaining visibility with stakeholders β€’ Ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload based upon organization needs β€’ Proven experience in creating and driving sales β€’ Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects through to resolution β€’ Able to represent Legrand | AV in a professional manner β€’ Computer literate (MS Office suite, etc.) β€’ Use of customer relationship management platforms (Salesforce) and experience in working with trouble ticketing systems. β€’ Must possess high degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information β€’ Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or governmental law
